Bronwyn Clark-Coolee is an Australian artist and curator whose practice encompasses printmaking, photography and collaborative, artist-run initiatives. Working primarily in print media including woodcuts and linocuts, her work explores repetition, abstraction and the relationship between process, image and perception.

Clark-Coolee was an active contributor to Brisbane’s artist-run scene throughout the 1980s, participating in key initiatives such as A Room and That Contemporary Art Space. These platforms played a significant role in shaping independent and experimental art practice in Queensland. Her interdisciplinary practice extends beyond printmaking to include curatorial and collaborative projects, reflecting an ongoing commitment to community-led spaces and creative exchange.

Her work has been presented in group exhibitions and is held in collections across Australia, including both institutional and private holdings.

This work from The caboose portfolio, is a screen print produced in black ink using a single stencil. Other works from this portfolio are held in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria.
