Getting to BCEC
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has three entrances. The Main Entrance on the corner of Merivale & Glenelg Streets, the Grey Street Entrance, and the Exhibition Entrance at the corner of Melbourne & Merivale Streets. There is a downloadable navigation map below to assist with directions.

Car Park 3
We provide undercover parking for up to 1500 vehicles. Our car park has direct lift access to the Centre’s multiple convention floors and exhibition facilities. Car park 1 is best for Merivale Street rooms, Car Park 2 & 3 are best for Exhibition Halls and Grey Street rooms via Russell Street Walkway.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Getting to BCEC via public transport is easy and efficient with bus, ferry and train options available. More information about planning your journey via public transport can be found on the TransLink website.
TRAIN
South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street or South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
BUS SERVICES
The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station cnr of Colchester and Tribune Streets are closest to BCEC.
CITYCATS & FERRIES
The public transport ferries CityCats operate everyday and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminal 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade.
TAXI
Taxi ranks are located outside the main entrance to the Centre on Merivale Street and a taxi drop off located at the Convention Centre Grey Street entrance.
FROM THE BRISBANE AIRPORT
Both Brisbane domestic and international airports are 30min drive from the Centre.
The AirTrain connects South Brisbane station to Brisbane’s international and domestic airports with stops in the Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley. Tickets and a timetable for this service can be found at the Information Desk or you can pre-book on the AirTrain website.
WALKING TO THE CENTRE
BCEC is a short stroll across from the Brisbane CBD connected by Victoria Bridge. Hotels, restaurants and bars, South Bank beach and parklands are all within walking distance from BCEC.

Find your way around the Centre with our suite of tools and services.
All BCEC floor levels are colour coded for ease of finding your way. The Plaza Level (red) is the link between BCEC on Merivale Street and BCEC Grey Street.

Services & Amenities
Information Desks & Cloak Rooms
Information desks are located in the Grey Street & Merivale foyers. Here our friendly staff will be able to assist you in your visit to the Centre.
Our information desks also offer cloak room facilities for your luggage, bags, prams and coats.
Parent Rooms
Our Parent Rooms feature all you need to feed and change in privacy and comfort. You can find Parent Rooms located on Merivale Street Main Foyer, just behind Merivales Cafe and one located on Grey Street Main Foyer next to the Information Desk.
You will also find change tables in all of the uni-sex accessible toilets throughout the Centre.
Free Wifi
Enjoy complimentary WiFi at BCEC for browsing the internet, checking emails or posting on social media.
Cafes & Restaurants
To ensure the health and safety of our guests, BCEC has adopted contactless payment methods throughout the Centre and encourages event organisers to do the same.
Onsite Security 24/7
The Centre has round the clock security keeping our visitors safe.
Free South Bank Loop Bus
Look out for Route 86! This brand-new bus route travels in a loop through West End, South Brisbane and the beautiful South Bank precinct. Jump on the bus at one of the distinctive green-and-white branded bus stops and easily visit any or all of these must-do attractions in this part of Brisbane:
- Cultural Centre/Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (us!)
- Davies Park, West End
- South Bank busway
- Cineplex at South Brisbane
- Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA)
