BCEC celebrates 15 years
Winner of 107 industry awards, the Centre is celebrating 15 years of consistently strong financial and operational performance with 12,000 events, eight million visitors, 10.8 million hours of staff employment and $2.2 billion in economic benefit to Queensland. BCEC is embarking on a new era with the development of BCEC on Grey Street, the Centre's boutique expansion of its convention facilities opening mid 2011.
New Art Gallery
BCEC has established the first permanant art space in an Australian convention centre to display a significant collection of Indigenous and contemporary art.
