Carbon CalculatorBrisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre strives to be a world leading sustainable event venue through the implementation of benchmark initiatives. One such initiative was the introduction of a customised carbon calculator for events – the very first in an Australian convention centre.
Designed in conjunction with the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) the Carbon Calculator takes into account room occupancy, menu selection, event services and is applicable for all events.
The online calculator is a free service to assist clients in reducing the impact of their events. If requested the team at the Centre will source high quality carbon credits to offset the emissions from your event through the Centre’s accredited partner providers, which can be for as little as a few dollars per person.
